I was wondering what the distance from the vacuum port bump out, to the inside of the blade (including the blade kerf) is on the old TS 55 EQ? i am wondering how close you can get it to a wall or other vertical structure while making a 90* cut.
I realize that unlike the REQ, you cannot run the housing of the saw along a wall because the bump in the rear of the housing will make the saw want to pull into the wall.
A second question is, if you have the Cover Plate installed, does that extend out equal or further than the vac hose bump, if further what is that distance from the cover plate to the inside of the blade (including blade kerf)
Thanks in advance
John
