Yes, that is the FS marking by the arrow.i always thought that the second marker was for on a guiderail, so it plunges 61 mm deep while on a guiderail?
It looks like it's already exceeding the max 62mm DOC the op was concerned it wasn't reaching, by 4mm judging by the pic.Makita make a 170mm blade. Not sure if it will fit inside the ts60 saw or fits the arbour etc. Check before buying. But that will give you 1mm more depth of cut if it does fit.
The videos in their official show the fs mark on 62mm. I wonder if that's just poor quality control from their part and if I should ask for a replacement. It looks like it's already exceeding the max 62mm DOC the op was concerned it wasn't reaching, by 4mm judging by the pic.
Aren't these two surfaces in the same plane?@Theucroix That actually looks like a parallax error to me from then screengrabs. Could be on the 61mm or the 62mm mark, but given the down angle of the camera I'm putting money it's on the 61mm mark.
The screengrab is from a side angle looking down, so unless you had a clear shot perpendicular to the scale it would be impossible to know the exact marking it's aligned with.Aren't these two surfaces in the same plane?
A parallax error would only occur if they were in different planes.
