I cut the end grain off a 2" Sapele thick table yesterday using a new TS75.  I was surprised at the blade marks.  Do I need to buy another (Fine tooth) blade for cleaner crosscutting?

Thanks!
Chris

Could be toe-in if not adjusted perfectly. 2 inch thick material is too thick for the finer tooth blade in my opinion and the standard 36 tooth should yield good results. You can check the toe-in by putting your saw on the track and enable fast fix as if you are changing the blade. Use a business card on the back of the blade and see if it has the right clearance.

The stock blade is a general purpose blade, which is pretty good, but can leave some light scratch marks. One adjustment you can make is to ensure the blade is parallel to the track, if the blade is toed in/out too much it can make marks worse. I believe the supplemental manual has info on this.

Thanks Jonathon, fort. my 125/3 sander made surprisingly quick work.  Thought it was going to be much worse.
