TS75 Brake?

I don't use my TS75 saw much but today I ripped a straight edge on a 100 bf bundle of poplar I just bought.  It's now 10 years old.  I noticed it takes a fair amount of time for the blade to stop, no braking at all.  But I can't remember if it ever did.  Can any TS75 owner verify if it has a brake?

No brake. It has a compression washer on the arbor which would help prevent a kickback. But no blade brake in the U.S.

For those who are curious... tools with a brake have a "B" in the model number. So, in Europe, they would have the TS 75 EBQ for instance while we have the TS 75 EQ here.

But over time... as stuff breaks down (no pun)... the EBQ tools can end up gettting equal with the EQ tools.

Is the absence of the Brake on the 110V tools related to the currents that are double as high, when you put the same energy back into the net?
