I was doing a little bit of lightweight home improvement tasks around the house today and I realised that my tracksaw (Bosch not Festool) was a bit big and heavy for trimming 18mm ply for a window box pelmet.

So it occured to me, how would people feel about a cordless tracksaw that used two of the 10.8v batteries of the CXS and had a smaller blade that had a depth of cut of say 25-30mm and a dust bag? Same principle at the TSC 55, but smaller... also I was thinking a flexible track that could be rolled up and fit in a Systainer.

Thoughts.

That's interesting.  That Bosch does have a moderately effect dust collection attachment and the parallel guide even attaches to Bosch/Mafell track.

And it is made by Mafell and comes exactly as you specify -- called the KSS 40.
