TSC55 Batteries never full

Hello,

I've just got a TSC55 and the batteries only display a full charge on the saw for around 10 seconds of run time then drop to 2 bars.

At first I thought I had made a horrible mistake and the saw would only last a few meters of cutting on a battery, but it seems more the level gauge just doesn't read 3 bars for long.

If I take the battery back off the saw when its on 2 bars and put it back on the charger it will say its fully charged. Or if I put it on another tool it will display 3 bars.

Does everybody have this issue? It's really annoying to say the least.

Never noticed it. Then again I wasn't looking, I only check the gauge after many cuts.

I'm pretty sure there is a fault with the saw.

If I take a battery out and try it in a drill it shows 3 bars. Even when its one or 2 on the saw.

Also if I swap batteries top to bottom it changes on the gauge.

I'll give festool a call tomorrow.

Not good.

Hi Ricky
Only just seen the post - are you UK based?
The gauge on the side is approximate only. The chances are that the battery (s) is fine but the gauge is indicating some small use of charge that is available and going to the two bar status. If UK based call service in the morning and thay will advise.
