TSO quick rail adapter slop?

I have a set of TSO parallel guide rails. I’ve had mixed luck with achieving accurate, even cuts. I can’t tel you how many times I’ve watched their tutorial on calibration. My results generally difference around 1/32 and sometimes even 1/16 difference over a 24” span. I tried to calibrate them one more time today and that’s when I realized that one of the rails, which is connected to my Festool track via a TSO quick rail adapter, can shift out of square if moderate force is applied. I brought out my Woodpecker square and tightened the little Allen screws on the back side but they were already tight. I looked at the machines holes and they look perfectly circular. So I have no idea why there’s a shift / slop going on.

I’m attaching a photo and video.

Has anyone run into this? Keep in mind that these are not the brand new version of the quick adapters. But these are less than a year old.

It looks like the screw might be bottoming out in the blind hole before the flat head fully seats in the countersunk portion of the rail.  Im not sure what size the screws are since I dont own it and Im sure theres not a lot or any options.  Not sure if its a taping issue.  The blind hole might not have gotten fully taped or the screw is just slightly long.  My money is on the hole.  This is a more difficult tap to do and could easily have been missed by QC.  Im sure TSO will offer to make it right but you could try and send in a bottom tap to clean up and see if you can get them a little deeper or take a grinder and remove a few thousands off the bottom of the screw.

That's quite a bit of movement.  I'd sure talk with TSO.  I wouldn't think they'd want that out there.

Thanks for the help here.
I emailed TSO and within a few hours they put a new one in the mail for me. Wow, great service and support!

Now if only I could get Rockler to support the $70 jig that broke after 6 uses.
