Hi all,

I have four tops to make, of different sizes. So I created a spreadsheet to help me setup the placement of the initial hole when using the UJK Park System:

Maybe this will help others.

Working on a true 32 system incorporating the offsets in the parf guides. Jig allows for micro adjustments to dial it in. You can achieve any size of cut by moving the stops or the rail.

Just kicking the idea around at this point may try to get it operational in the field over the next week. You jig calculator may come in handy thanks.

Hmmm interesting. The hole pattern at each end look interesting, what do they help you do?

I could drill those hole guides now in my top, whilst I have everything out :)

You’re welcome for the spreadsheet, I think I fixed the bugs.

Many thanks for sharing, seen the instagram post and unfortunately im on a Mac and it won't open the Microsoft spreadsheet file. I recon if I have the file I could put it on google sheets and it would be any platform that way. Could you message me the file? and i'll share it for Mac

The holes on the end are in 32 mm increments( created with the Parf guides mark 2).  This allows for the adjustment of the lengths in multiples of 32. Without these it would require 3 jig setups to obtain the multiples. After the jig is dialed in once it can be used in different configurations to maintain the 32 mm lengths and widths. This is critical for the LR32 system to be efficient. It is also stupid proof for my field crew to get anything other than a true 32 panel. Other than not making sure they are against the stops.

I have attached a better drawing in hopes of explaining.

Sure thing, I sent you a PM

I’m surprised it didn’t open, it should be free and work in any browser. But I guess you have to edit it to change the dimensions of the top, that I think requires a license.

Could you post the Excel file here?

Thanks, Dick

It seems to me that this item from Incra would bring a lot of functionality to the MFT/3 in this application. Configured with the metric grating and aligned to the 96mm Festool grid, this item seems to serve your goal.

I have the LS Gold Positioner and a plan to incorporate at a later date. On my wish list the table is a need for the home we are trimming now.

That's probably easier!

Thank you. Is there some reason that I can't get to columns A & B? I'd like to import this file into another Excel file I have on woodworking tools, but I can't copy/insert the worksheet to it, and if I cut and paste the guts of your worksheet into one on mine, it doesn't work because I can't copy those columns.

Thanks, Dick

They are hidden, you can unhidden them by selecting Column C and click unhide.

They are hidden because I use them to find the right row and then use a conditional formatter to highlight it.

Yes, that was the first thing I tried, and it did not work; just tried again, same result.

I have an older version of Excel (2007!), so that might be part of the problem, although it does read your file just fine, and the file works just fine. Could I trouble you to re-save and re-post it in *.xls format, and perhaps with those columns unhidden?
