UK - Don't make a big Festool tool purchase until next week.

Looks like you're going to be saving close to 1K [wink]

Not likely as I'd have to spend £6000 to achieve that! But yes, although I have quite a few Festool tools myself, my wife, son and daughter all have a sander each too that they registered so we get four lots of every offer/incentive.  [wink]

Hi
This is my first post after lurking on here for a while, I've just received my voucher from festool this morning and was also planning to purchase a ts55 with all of the accessories ie. 2 1400 rails and systainer with the rail joints clamps etc from Axminster am I right in thinking this would qualify for the discount as its over 500

Cheers
Martin

If you take a look at the third image above, the T&Cs can be seen. Unfortunately, consumables and accessories aren't included in the offer.

In anticipation of the forthcoming voucher, I have been keeping a loose eye on a few retailers to see what they did with the Kapex price specifically:

  • Axminster price remained the same
  • Nuts & Bolts price remained the same
  • FFX price rose by over £70

FYI

Mine arrived today!

So the question is what to buy!

I currently have the following:

TS55 2 x 1400 & 1 x 800 rails, OF1400 (inc rail kit), Domino 500 inc extras, CXS

I definitely would like to get a CTL Midi but other than that I don't know what else I would find really useful. Thinking about a sander but I have a Bosch (Green) ROS would the Festool be much of an improvement?

I am also considering a Kapex but that's a lot of money for an amateur.

Is there a paper catalogue produced anywhere?
There you go Stu ,you knew you'd get one if you waited long enough lol

It's not quite as good a deal as before but I'm sure I can make it up to £500. Although half tempted by a Kapex.

My voucher came today, but I have no pending purchases.  If anyone there wants a voucher just PM me and I'll post mine.  There is nothing to say they aren't transferrable.

Now all I have to do is find a nearby festool supplier, probably Axminster.  That's another poor area of the festool.co.uk website - the dealer locator results don't include Axminster, unless I put its own postcode in!

a lot of online retailers will also accept these vouchers. i know ffx and nuts and bolts both do.
make the purchase and then send off the voucher. they then refund the amount back to your account. i have done this with nuts and bolts with a £50 extractor voucher last year.

I'm starting to get worried I haven't received my voucher yet! Kapex has been on my list for a while and the voucher would take the edge of the price.

Post has been today, but I'm hoping its going on last name order and it will arrive in the next couple of days  :)

I've had a taker, so it's no longer available.

Yep, thank you Andrew - very much appreciated.

Festool have well and truly emptied my tool fund now!

Just back from N&B with the last of the main tools, just a few accessories to buy and done

Thanks again

Dale
