I hope this does not cause any offence, I have put it in here rather than the classifieds so as posts to the thread can be made.
As some may have guessed, I very recently acquired a Rotex RO125 (this morning).
In order to ensure I had the required materials to start using it I purchased (at a very good price) a SURFIX set from N&B. I had asked Matt (the N&B Festool Man) if he would exchange the 150mm Sanding Disks for 125mm sanding disks to which he agreed.
The stuff turned up this morning and Matt, true to his word had included 2 packets of 125mm Sanding Disks, when I opened the systainer up the 150mm disks were still inside. I then contacted Matt to ask if he wanted me to send them back and he told me not to bother. As I have no use for them (and I can't afford another sander just yet) I have decided to offer them to the UK members of FOG (especially as we do not seem to get all the offers and competitions that our US compatriots do) FOC and I will cover the shipping fees too.
I would prefer it (but I'm not going to check up) if some of the less well heeled members got first refusal rather than those with already bulging stocks of abrasives. This was suggested by Peter Parfitt who I offered a set as he did me a kindness a short while ago, he said he had plenty and would prefer it went to someone who really needed it.
So, I will offer them as two sets, one of Rubin 2 P180 x 10 sheets and one of Brilliant 2 P240 x10 sheets.
One set per person please and I will cover the postage charges too.
