Good Afternoon

Some official communication from our TSM today;

"Dear Festool Dealer

Given the current and ongoing exchange of Sterling versus the Euro it is looking likely that we may see the need for a price increase of between 3%-7% in either July or early August. At the moment we are trying to swallow this until the standard end of year review, but please be aware that it may be necessary before hand. I will keep you all informed of every development."

Also we had a message that FESTOOL will no longer be supplying HAFELE! So if any of you use them in the UK, how about you give us a try instead?  [smile]

Best regards

Warren

Awww, where am I going to go now when I want to pay MORE than the Festool list price? [eek] [poke]

Seriously, I imagine Festool stopped supplying them 'cos no-one in their right mind would buy Festool from them...

Or maybe they realized that Hafele are a bunch of unprofessional, discourteous,  liars  who dont care about their costumers

OK rant over just had a order from them, will never work with them again.

I just bought a Zeta it makes the festools look sooooo cheap... [big grin]
How are you getting on with it. I'm totally hooked and use it a lot. Just wish the fixings were't so expensive (clients here in Normandy are pretty penny pinching) i've nearly used the first box I got from Axminster and can't source them locally. Where did you get yours?

Its a nice machine and very well made when compared with  the domino there are two things that strike you, one is the domino is better behaved when put in place on the work piece the zeta moves just a little to easily. the other is the zeta is much easier to centre on the work piece.

My machine and clamex p's  both came from axminster they are the importer (brimark)so I doubt you will find them any cheaper elsewhere

I have a house in brittany so I know how little money there is around down there are you working for the french or expats? both as bad as each other I guess.

Mainly for local businesses. I live in a touristy area and there are a lot of Brits with holiday homes, but haven't worked for one yet. It's a shame as the English could come in handy  ;)
