uneven splinter guard

I just noticed the nice, new clear style splinter guard installed recently is now uneven since I cut some bevels using the TS75.  When I first attached the new SG, I ran the saw down the track at 90 deg.  It left an edge about 1/16th" away as it should have.  However, since I cut some bevels, the area where I cut the bevels is now almost right at the edge of the aluminum.  I'm going to have to move it away a little bit and reset it and then trim it again.  However, should this be happening?  Do I need to be concerned about it?

Is the splinter guard uneven within your beveled cut, or  just a different cut line as compared to a regular 90 deg cut? Those would be 2 different problems.

The cut line is fine, it's the splinter guard that is uneven now.  With the clear guard, it's hard to tell unless you really look closely but it is definitely closer to the aluminum edge than it should be.
