Use of DELRIN sheet for Systainer mods ?

Is that cost calculator in inches?    If so a 1/4" thick sheet 24" x 48" is $360.00+  That seems like it can't be right  ???

The sheet plastics that I've bought (UHMW, HDPE, Acrylic) aren't cheap, even when buying full sheets. I've never bought Delrin but UHMW is close to double HDPE. Delrin might be way up there also.

UHMW will work just as good and its less than 1/2 the price.

HDPE will also work fine and it's close to half the price of UHMW.

Always nice to find another source for plastics. I'm starting work on a project that will involve fabrication of some sheet polypropylene. I think I got 24x48x.125 inch sheets for $16 each?

Ive got a full sheet of 3/4" King starboard in my garage.  Free to to first person who can pick it up!  Selling my house and it's gonna be dead weight. 

But Toms right, this stuff aint cheap
