Using a Domino connected to a plain old shop vac

I want to use a Domino with its power plugged direct, i.e., when I turn it on it goes on and is not linked to a vac.  The vac I want to use is a Sears unit with either the 2-1/2" or 1-1/2" hose.  I'll turn on the Sears vac, then turn on the Domino.

Aside from doing something Rube-Goldbergish with duct tape, how can the dust port of the Domino be routed to my vac hose?  I guess ideally, there would be a short whip of Festool hose connected to the Domino port with the right Festool fitting, then at the end of the whip, a nice adapter to get the Festool hose piped to the Sears hose.

What to do?

First off retired and just getting into woodworking as a hobby. Picked up a Makita track saw ( at a huge discount ) and a domino. The adapter for dust collection for the track saw is for a 1 1/4 inch hose. It fits my domino perfectly. It costs about $12 here in Canada. Thats the only sugestion I have.

I've been using my old Craftsman shop vac with my Domino for some time using a Mr Nozzle hose and a couple of adapters that work perfectly with the Domino.  It also works well with the TS55 and the OF1400.  I have the 1-1/2" hose with the Part # 6 hose end (http://www.mrnozzleinc.com/home_hoseends_page.php) and the Part # 17 adapter.  Those allow me to connect to all of my Festool tools and my Kreg jigs dust port as well.
