Using Domino on small parts?

Anyone have a method of clamping smaller parts to a domino? I have a 2x2x6 inch piece I need to put dominos into and am having trouble figuring this out.

I use double sided tape to affix the small parts to a larger part. I do this for Domino, tablesaw, bandsaw, etc.

If you have not cut your stock yet, oversize it (in length and/or width) first and cut the mortises. Then trim the work to size.

If your stock is in its final dimension, cradle it and double-face tape the piece.

Cradling = Surround the work around with sheet goods of the same thickness. You can work on the end or surface with this approach.

It also helps if you are doing multiple pieces of the same size.  That way you can line them up next to one another for more support for the fence.
