Hello,

I don't have a domino yet...hoping Santa will leave one under the tree for me this year, however, I have been bad with all the purchases I've made this year so it's going to be a long shot.  None the less...I had a question about if the Domino will work for this application.

I'm making a "lid" for a box.  The lid will be made of 3/4" baltic birch plywood.  I want to see if using a domino will work when connecting two ends that are at a 45 degree miter will work?  A picture is worth more than I can describe so please see the attached screen shot...it looks like it MIGHT work, but it's gonna be really tight.  The red piece is the domino at 5x19x30

If you're careful I think you can even use 4mm dominos on 1/2" ply, but you need to rest a piece of 1/4" on top as you cut the mortises to shift the centreline up.
