Using festool OF1400 and miles craft signcrafter templates together

Novice woodworker wanting to make a few wood signs. The festool OF1400 does not seem compatible with the Milescraft signcrafter baseplate. Is there a legit workaround? Do I even need a baseplate since the festool is so sturdy? Any suggestions appreciated.

The instructions for the 1256 metric version says it is compatible with the Festool 1400.
