Today I was using my rotex 126 and the vac hose fell off the sander. Taking a closer look, the hose sheared off the tool coupler. This hose is less than a year old. Is the hose under a warranty or does anyone have any suggestions on fixing it. I currently just taped it back together just to keep going. I don't have a camera handy but I can post pictures later if that would be helpful.

You can probably just reattach the undamaged portion of the hose to the connector.

This link is a step by step process. If your hose tore a little you might want to cut an inch or so off tho make a clean connection.

I doubt the hose is sheered off. It probably just worked it's way out of the tool connector.
