[member=75841]sanjay[/member] I bought one last week from Beaver Industrial Supply.  I called their toll free sales number.  They confirmed they had a few in at that point shipped me one that day and a got it a couple days later.  For me, Beaver did a great job.  Hope you find one.  I am setting mine up this weekend.

Good luck.

Has anyone seen an se2 in stock anywhere?

Are you serious? I order and paid for mine on 12/21/21 and still haven’t received it. That’s crazy.

[member=13588]Runhard[/member] Yep, I am serious.  I called two weeks ago and not last week.  I just checked the order and it was two weeks ago.  I was off a week in my initial reply.

However, when I called I was told it was in stock, ordered/paid for the SE2 on that phone call and it showed up a couple days later.  Did you just order the second unit?  I had one unit, the pump, and the set of different vacuum cups already so I just wanted a second unit for an upcoming linen closet build.  If you just ordered a second unit that is really crazy.  Good luck buddy.

My bad, I’m waiting on the unit with the foot pedal, SE1? BIS did say that they have a few SE2’s.

Just pulled the trigger on a surprise delivery at toolnut. Get them while they’re hot! Woot!

I setup the SE2 in my shop tonight.  I am already thinking about tasks which will be easier and some process/work flow improvements.  There is one negative.  I can already see that I need to build a new sanding / Vac Sys table with better management of the hoses.  Thinking I will build something like [member=65062]DynaGlide[/member] posted up above.

I received my vac-clamp while out of town last week.
Although I haven’t had a good chance to work with it, I did set it up and try the unit.  Wow

It’s very evident this is going to Change  my work flow.

What I need to do now is find a spot to mount the head and place the pump nearby. As noted, if it’s not in the systainer , it will be used a lot more. Plus having some portability will be nice.

Good luck with everyone’s quest,as I was thinking of canceling my order, glad I didn’t.

Pulled the trigger on Doscornio.

Will report back once i have it.
That will be interesting to see!
Thanks for keeping us up to date!

My order sheet claims delivery of May 20th. We shall see!

Part of the hold up, besides coming from Germany and the other craziness in the world, i opted for the 110v pump, which they didn't have in stock yet.

You will be glad you did not cancel.  It is a great piece of kit and something you will find more uses for than ever imagined.  I leave mind out of the systainer 100% of the time in my shop.  Makes it easy to use.

Maybe this entire situation will be like “New Coke” where Festool changes course like Coke did and brings it back to the permanent lineup.

I'm still waiting. First in was late February then March and now April. I am thinking maybe May.

Makes one wonder if they have not fired up the line to make a few more as they just keep coming...

I'll be very ticked.

If true, not me. It got me and a lot of other people off of the fence. Been looking for years and almost jumped on a reconditioned model until I saw the little savings you got for giving up 2 years of warranty.

I ordered the SE1, SE2, pump combo but only receive the pump and SE2 today. I hope I am getting the SE1 that I already paid for and need the foot pedal from.

I'm in the same situation. I ordered the complete set with the accessory set and MFT clamp. I received the pump, SE2, and accessory kit, but not the SE1 and MFT clamp. I emailed BIS asking if I would be receiving the SE1 with foot pedal, and if not, what is their return policy. I have not heard back from them yet. My order was placed on 12/21/21.

Same thing happened to me. Waiting on an update. Ordered on 12/16/2021. Missing the SE1.

Still no SE1 or any responses from BIS!

I talked with BIS yesterday and I believe they said they had 40 SE1’s that would coming in and shipping next week. They had no update or timeline on the MFT brackets. The lady was very nice and helpful. She offered to call Festool to ask about the bracket, but I said that wasn’t necessary.

Well, now they are saying late May for shipping the Vac-Sys set. Now I’m a little more concerned if the order will actually be fulfilled. It’s not as bad as the Auriou carving chisels that I ordered a year ago and I’m still waiting for some of them to be delivered. Tough times!  [cool]

It seems [member=11331]Beaver Industrial Supply[/member] ran out of the "supplied" shipment of the SE1, now they estimate another 14 days until more come in. I'm not feeling great about this. They sent me the pump and the SE2, and invoiced me, but without the SE1 which includes the foot pedal, I basically have a useless VAC SYS without the SE1. They also don't seem to respond to emails and their phone support is fair at best. Why show you have a product for sale if you don't have the inventory to support your sales. :(

Just called again today and still no update from [member=11331]Beaver Industrial Supply[/member] on when their next shipment of SE1's will be in.  [mad]

If anyone can lay their hands on another SE-2, I have two brand new SE-1's. I'll send you the foot pedal, you send me the tee, and the foot pedal valve.
E.

I have an "extra" SE1 unit still boxed and unused if anyone has a spare SE2 and would like to swap!

Discovered this thread before I knew what the VAC SYS product line was all about.  Watched a couple of videos and knew I had to find one before they were all gone.  Saw the inflated prices on eBay.  Tempting, but no.  On Monday, I set out to find the pieces.  Found the pump at Beaver Industrial.  Looked for the SE1 and found one at Tool Nut.  Took a chance on both with no expectations.  Waited patiently for tracking numbers.  Beaver shipped same day.  Tool Nut shipped the following day.  Decided to also pull the trigger on the accessory kit.  Ordered that from Hartville via Amazon.  That was shipped immediately and it arrived on Wednesday.  Pump arrived on Thursday and the SE1 on Friday.  Found the SE2 on Beaver’s site and grabbed that too.  It arrives on Tuesday.  Dumb luck for sure!

I worked in the shop most of the day today and was able to try it out.  What an amazing tool!

Not sure if I got lucky or if stock starting to trickle in from Europe?

Nice finds, boomvader.
Here is my situation, could use some help.
About 18 months ago I bought the vac sys pump (open box item on Amazon)
About 1 year ago, I got the SE2 (in error, should have gotten SE1)
Today I went to set everything up, realized I had no foot pedal and that I screwed up.

What can be done with the pump and the SE2? Can I just find a foot pedal and be good to go? What about the tee-fitting on the hose (in the absence of an SE1)?
Hopefully I am not totally screwed  [scared]
Please and Thank You,
Nathan

I may have answered my own question, will need to test. It seems I can remove the tee-fitting and connect the SE2 directly to the pump. There is a hose coming out of the SE2 that (I am guessing) goes to a foot pedal and it has an inline valve on it. So I think I am good to go.

My Doscornio system has shipped from Germany finally (was waiting for 110v pump).

10 weeks and counting! Although less time then some folks who ordered a vacsys
