Morning all.. have a CT26 and just purchased the Tradeperson vacuum accessory kit,the vac comes with a 27 mm hose, the kit comes with a 36 mm hose,I would like to switch them out and use the 36 for daily use and the 27  for occasional use,is this possible? any feedback on what parts I may need to buy? Thank You kindly

There should be no parts to buy other than for sanding and OF 1010 or MFK 700. The suction ports on those tools are too small for a 36mm hose and you wouldn't really want to fight its inflexibility.

You can get a reducer/hose whip to step the 36mm down to 27mm for those purposes.

Thanks ,nice to be here.. Ok then if that is the only solution..I am a house painter and typically only use 3 different sanders I have no use for a 36 mm hose,Would it be possible to trade with some that wants to get rid of a 27 mm hose? it is brand new not been used ever... Anyone wanna do a trade Please??

I just purchased a CT Mini with a 27mm hose and I already have a CT22 with a 27mm hose.  I'll trade you for the 36mm hose.  Where are you located?

Your making a bad choice. the 36 is much better at cleaning floors and sucking up junk. get the whip  or add and additional 27.

Hi rollerboy,

  Welcome to the FOG!  [smile]

Do you / can you use more than one D27 hose at a time?  A splitter on the vac to more than one sander?  An extension hose?

[welcome]

If I were you, I would keep the 36mm hose. It is much better to use for cleaning than the 27mm hose. You could also connect the two together with the purchase of a few parts.
