Vecturo Lid

I opened the lid to my Vecturo and, somehow, the clear inset lid popped off. Under this inset lid are the various blades. The plastic hinge broke at the back. It came apart in two small pieces so is not repairable. I didn't apply any pressure and have no idea how this happened.

Can I buy just the Sustainer lid? I looked at how the lid is is attached and it is not obvious how to get the current lid off to install a new one.

Any ideas?

Yes you can replace just the lid. Go to festoolproducts.com and search for item 702082

If it is just the transparant lid of the mini compartment inside the grey lid, the part number is 702083 and costs $17.17 ex vat. Any Festool dealer can order it for you or contact Festool directly.

  So the broken piece is part of the Systainer lid? Or part of the compartment lid? Or did parts of both brake? I don't have one handy to look at right now. In either case the parts should be available.

The hinge part on the Sustainer lid broke. The compartment lid hinge part is ok.

Hard to say whether or not it will be of any help without pictures, but acetone will melt ABS to a putty-like consistency and you might be able to transplant a couple chips from a place you won't notice to a new home on the top where the hinge structure was. If not, there's always Sugru.
