VECTURO multitool and TSC 55 cordless saw photos and details

The TSC55 appeals for many reasons... I'd be pleased to see the end of power leads and dust extraction hoses 'jagging' on the guide rails or material being cut.   I know this is manageable with good technique but I would prefer to concentrate on getting a good clean cut.

Personally I hope it's fall before the TSC55 gets released in NA.  My credit card needs to cool down!

Hhhmmmmm......September.....anyone want to bet, not this year? I think they would have to have already announced a date for a 2014 date.   So I gues I should repair my super cut.  I do look forward to the release.

Well, that September release date is for Europe, not the US.

The Supercut is a MUCH better tool than the Multimaster. The Vecturo will be a cut above the competition (pun intended) BUT read the last section of my post. Vecturo blades being the same as Supercut is fine, they are not that hard to come by. Oscillation ratio is the same as Supercut (I was told).

Blades don't mix (easily) with Multimaster and the Supercut blades are usually only found in pro stores where as the Multimaster market is quite large with plenty of aftermarket blades. I have plenty of blades, so I don't foresee buying any blades for the next ten years based on my current ratio of ruining blades. That feels reassuring. :)

What I did find out on the construction fair I attended last week in Sweden - and yes, I did handle the Vecturo ;) - is that I won't be spending any more than I did on this baby, the Vecturo is basically this. Feels and sounds like my pimped up Supercut:

I'd rather Plug-it-up a Supercut unless the price was similar. I did pimp my Supercut as soon as I got the quick change model. Works like a charm. Very solid machine and the extra oomph over the Multimaster is apparent.

However, there are news from Fein that does take a little sparkle from the Vecturo:
The Multimaster will be upgraded to a stronger model - and with "rubber suspension" to combat user fatigue. It was on display at the fair and it was a little thicker but it did work well. I don't remember the specs but it is stronger.

Also, the Supercut will be upgraded to an even stronger model and will be ahead of the Vecturo for sheer power - and it will have the motor suspension too. The Vecturo will not. Since my Supercut is probably going to last quite a while I am not inclined to upgrade I will take a look at it for sure. I use the Supercut enough to be interested in less vibrations but for the most part the power of the existing one is enough if you let the blades do the work. I don't remember if the Fein rep said that the new one will have a larger "swing" rate and cut faster, we did discuss a lot and I was running a slight fever.

Also, Fein will release a 10,8V screwdriver/drill system within the year.

How the powers that be think a cordless TS saw will do better in the US market than that Vecturo is beyond me..meanwhile Fein is cleaning up in that market.

I'm curious - does the TSC55 do anything different from the TS55 to achieve good dust collection in the bag? Could the bag be added to a TS55R to help keep things clean in the case where I couldn't / didn't want to pull my CT out for some quick cuts?

I like the plunge base with a magnet that holds the blade tight against the fence. NICE...

I think that it should work in the same way...

I did a cut a while ago and the hose came off near the end of the cut. I finished the cut in order not to get a stop/start mark and found the dust being projected from the hose connector on the TS55.

The only thing that I would like to see demonstrated or be able to check out myself is the way one goes about emptying the bag. The next question will be how many times can the bag be emptied before it gets tired out.
