Vecturo - Starlock

Hey foggers, I hope someone can assist me.  I am confused about the Starlock blade compatibility.  The new Vecturo uses Starlock Max blades.  Bosch also manufactures and sells Starlock, Starlock Max, and Starlock Plus blades.  Are all these types of blades compatible with the Vecturo?  According to Bosch, all of these styles of blades are backwards compatible.  During the Festool live, I thought I heard the new Vecturo cannot use certain blades.  Is there an adapter which is needed to use some of them?

I also see some 'universal' blades out there.  I have used them with my Dewalt Oscillator.  Are they compatible with any of the Starlock series?

I am trying to see which blades I can use with the Vecturo.  Thanks.

Highland woodworking has the best breakdown I could find since I don’t know what style Vecturo you have.

As for universal: all blades fit on universal multi tools. Starlock multi tools cannot accept universal blades.

If you have a machine that is Starlock max compatible (Like the vecturo, the fein supercut or a heavy duty bosch machine) you can use all the starlock blades without using an adapter.

As [member=1993]Frank-Jan[/member] indicated, the Starlock blades are downwards compatible, meaning that anything lower is also compatible.
