I have a quick-in Supercut which I am very happy with though I could use a battery powered multicutter at times.
I won't get a Supercut 18V since I don't want yet another 18V system/charger in the Sys-pile.
If Festool would release an 18V Vecturo I would be all set but considering they are probably not churning one out in the near future (or are they???) I am thinking of adding a Bosch 18V Multicutter to the kit. A bare unit would not set me back all that much and it would share batteries/charger with my Bosch 18V jigsaw. I could easily pick one up monday morning and be done with it but I have a dilemma:
I am neck deep in Vecturo/Supercut blades. I recently bought a 30-pack of quality Supercut blades for $124 (yes, that is $4 a blade...) as I thought I was finally running out with only four/five blades left in the tool kit.
When I went to sort them out and put the surplus blades away I found my long lost cache of Fein original blades as well as a few Imperial blades in a small drawer and realized I now have close to 70 (!!!) blades, all sizes and types. So I am basically set for a decade or more with the blades as I go through roughly five-six blades a year. All are Supercut mount. With that in mind I would not want to buy any more blades - like ever - and here lies the real question:
Fitting Supercut to Bosch GOP Multicutter/OiS? Surely there must be an adapter for it?
I know there was one made by "Joaliff" somewhere in the UK but their website is nowhere to be found and I haven't been able to dig up any recent links pointing to their business. Seems like they are out?
Link to the type I am after:
Any help with sourcing an adapter is much appreciated.
