I couldn't figure out how to make it work safely, so I broke out the rail that came with my 75. I think the offer of the 75 for the REQ is very generous, however I do think that some kind of accommodation should be given for trading the rail as well, for safety sake.

This forum is about sharing ideas, creative solutions and a sense of community. No one wants to see that censored. I don't think the forum should be used a means of leverage for disgruntled users to publicly negotiate with Festool. Some censorship isn't necessarily a bad thing.

darita said:Of course I could be wrong, but I don't think threads are locked because Festool doesn't like what they're reading. I think there are legalities at play that don't allow Festool to be associated in any way, with certain statements concerning this REQ situation. I can understand that. I don't think I've ever seen a thread locked for any other reason.
