Looking for some opinions on the  Veritas? 32 Cabinetmaking System

Looks like it does what the Domino and LR 32 Hole Drilling Set doese, with regards to cabined construction. Anybody used it?

I don't know.  Lot's of little pieces.  Can you register new holes from existing holes maintaining 32mm on center?  Does it address cup holes in doors?

I use 8mm mortises cut with the Domino for construction holes using the registration pins for alignment.  I use 8x40 tenons so I plunge 15mm in the sides and 25mm in the bottoms, stretchers and nailers.

I use one of the little plastic templates for system holes.  I've tried but it's hard to justify anything else.

It won't do cup hinge holes; Veritas has a separate 35mm drilling jig for that which has to be held in place by hand. I regret having bought one a few years ago. Without getting creative you can't clamp it down, leading to less than ideal holes from time to time. Blum's 35mm jig, on the other hand, looks really nice.

I notice that the Sommerfeld and I think the Blum both bore the 8mm holes for the little plastic insert.  I assume that's required for particle board core and mdf doors.
