Vibration with protection pad on ETS 150 sander

How much more vibration people usually get when using a protection pad on an ETS 150 sander?

With either orbit, the pad should be further separating you from the business end of the machine. You should feel less vibration.

I'm saying "vibration", but maybe I should use "wobble". When I put a pad saver on my ETS EC 150/5, there is enough "wobble" that it becomes almost unusable. Just got a Rotex 150, and it is even worse on it when I put a protection pad. On that one, it is definitely unusable.

This usually happens when the add on pad isn’t perfectly aligned with the sander pad. It creates an unbalanced spin. Try to re-align the pad so it is not on crooked.
