Video of RO90 Sanding Travertine Tile and Thinset

Here is one entry of using the powerful RO90 to sand some thinset and travertine tile in my bath remodeling project.  I love this sander and thought I would show the usefulness in this application -- it does not always have to be woodworking and Festool excels at construction type work too.

Oh...and I only used 3 sheets of round Granat 80 grit and two Delta sheets of Granat 80 grit...probably 15 - 18 lineal feet of sanding in total (although I forgot the exact measurement).

Thanks for the video.  I am new to Festool, having just bought a TS 55 REQ last month.  Next up is likely a Domino., but I've eyed the RO 90 everytime I go into my local Woodcraft.  I started on a remodel of our study awhile ago, then got busy at work, and I'm easing into retirement now and the remodel will resume.  This sander looks ideal for the task I have ahead of me. having th eoption to go to a delta pad really is the deal closer.

Thanks, Leer.  Yes, the RO90 is a great machine.  It is versatile for so many things and would help you in your remodel I am sure.  Of course the Domino is an awesome machine as well and it is really a game changer in my opinion in building things.  Congrats on your TS55 REQ.  That is a nice saw...I have the TS75, but the 55 has a lot of great features and functionality to it.
