Went to Birmingham to do a job today got there and found out that the counter we were fitting was not and would not be on site, nobody thought to tell us  [mad]
So we paid a visit to w14 wow its 20 odd years since ive been to a proper tool exhibition and how things have moved on.
I am now a cnc convert these are amazing machines I am seriously thinking about investing in one in the future, how I didn't buy anything I don't know (probably because I've spent a bit in the last few weeks)

Also looked at the Felder panel saw good deal on it at the show having to think about that as well.

Also a great router jig for scribing skirting boards, dado rail etc very simple and can use out of plumb plus slight undercut to ensure tight joints I'll try and find the name of it but forr 224 quid a good buy if you do lots of skirting of as our friends over the water call it base board

I believe it's the scribe master pro that your referring too

Yes that's it I was impressed leaves a good joint and easy to scribe 2 different profiles

I think it was either 224 or 229 inc vat plus you get the router bit thrown in, I think they said it was usually 249 though I might be mistaken

Oh and the lamello invis mx bolts were very good to very strong invisible fixing great for handrail joints

Sorry keep thinking of other things tried the battery carvex, that cut well in the 40mm top to

Didn't realise it was so long ago until I was talking to 1 of the salesman!

The cnc machines are awesome it's got to be the way to go for accuracy and speed just need to find 60-70k to buy the 1 I fancy

Yeah Cnc's are the way forward.

That's why I bought myself a CNC
What size bed is yours?
What make?

8x4.  Multicam.

I have the older model the new models don't seem that good and I have been told and read people having a lot of problems with the new ones.

Whenever I go to the "Toy Store" or a show and bring a goodie home with me, I just tell THE BOSS that I really saved 10,000 or 20,000 bucks by not buying what I had REALLY wanted.
