Just a heads up, WAGO started a community project some time ago called WAGO Creators. It’s a site where people can share/upload files for 3D-printable accessories that are designed around and for use with the well known WAGO connectors. You can either download (for free) and print yourself, or order from a source that will print and deliver, obviously not for free.

Right now it’s still pretty 221- series focussed. Users of the 221- connector series might find some interesting/ problem solving designs.

I’d say this is mainly a resource for DIY applications, as none of the designs are certified/ tested. Be aware of that!

Kind regards,
Oliver

Thank you Richard [member=8712]Richard/RMW[/member] and Oliver [member=61712]six-point socket II[/member] for posting this.  [thumbs up] [thumbs up]

Unknown to either one of you, I have over 80 LED luminaires scattered throughout the yard for landscape lighting. Some are down-lights mounted on the fence posts, others are RAB bollard style lights spread throughout the gardens along with a mix of step lights and yard features that are spotlighted. Everything is tied together with 12 ga or 14 ga low voltage landscape cable. Some of the cable is buried and some is not capable of being buried but all are subject to the ravages of living outdoors 24/7 for year after year. The cable is attacked by the mice, the squirrels, the chipmunks, the dogs if they feel like digging a hole, and my wife who likes to carry a sharp spade around and move garden plants at will.  [smile]

Consequently, there are always a couple of cables that need to be spliced. I have another 2 for this year that I have to splice before the winter.

A number of years ago this is what I came up with, some PVC conduit with a permanent cap on one end (black), a removable cap on the other end (white) and some Wago fasteners tucked inside. It's mandatory that the copper leads are thoroughly tinned before being inserted into the Wago connectors, otherwise they oxidize and connections can be intermittent.

These new printable Wago extension boxes will be easier to use and are a smaller profile.
