I just finished up this walnut mini bar/buffet cabinet.  Made using only Festool, Kreg pocket screws and my Jet table saw.  This is my favorite piece I've built to date.  I hope I will be doing more projects like this in the future.

Very nice. I like the clean look, no superfluous details. Very well made.

Nive job!  [big grin] I like your spray room  [eek] I'd love one like that. What spray finish did you use?

Thanks.  On this project I used a valspar 20 sheen lacquer!  This is my goto finish for most of my projects.

yeh ,yeh, yeh, yeh - all nice, now ... pics of the car [big grin]

Fist off, here is a better picture of the cabinet,  I didn't realize how saturated the the first picture was.  This one still isn't a great picture

Very nice.  I appreciate how you maintained the wood grain across the drawer fronts.

What lights did you use in the cabinet?

that fj looks pretty slick. you have any plans with it? one tons, lift, small block, etc...

That 1963 Lincoln looks Cherry - just like I remember them on the show room floor after they wiped my drool off [big grin]

Jake.

No immediate plans.  Its all original except for the top and a 3" lift.  Everything works very well still.  As soon as I start to have any engine problems I will swap it for either a diesel engine or a LS1 power plant.  But the way this thing runs, I don't ever seeing that happen. ::)

Looks great. Better midtones in that photo.
Just curious why you designed the through rails on the face frame? It looks good, just wondering if it was a design decision or it made it easier to install etc.?

Thanks,

The lighting was a last minute add on.  So I just ran down to the Home Depot and purchased a set of Hampton bay.  It wasn't my first choice but I didn't have time to run into town to get anything better.

Great job. I use those same lights on all my built ins along with the dimmer switch they sell

Thanks for sharing

Thanks Kreg

Yeah the thing I didn't like about the lights are that I had them plugged into a switched outlet. Every time you turn off/on the switch you have to turn on the  supplied dimmer from the lights.

It a good set if you don't use on a switched circuit.
