well guys
long time following so i decided id post some pictures of my projects , this one isnt complete yet but its been painted in a place with colour , its high density mdf with a solid walnut edge 25mm in depth by 18mm thickness rebated onto mdf , its been one time consuming project but should be fablous when finished i hope
 
Yep that is cool. Why not all walnut ?  But painted with walnut trim looks great also ! Thanks for sharing

Unfortunately it'd cost a fortune to do in all walnut here in Ireland kreg , with the evo mic down turn people here have certain limitations with budget and factor in how far they want the project to go , plenty more to share must get them up
 
That's going to look fantastic once it's finished and filled with all sorts of books / pictures / etc.  Very nice feature for that room.  Nice work!

How did you attach it to the wall?
Did you use dominoes to attach the horizontal MDF pieces to the vertical pieces?

To attach the units to the wall I but fixings on certain box sections all the way up ,we're I but the fixings I put a false mdf back  in place to create the illusion of the wall they will then paint that to match the same colour as the wall .
I bought the domino df500 but it hadn't arrive in time to use as I had already started the project
