I have a Festool sander that has a failed bearing. It's in its second year of guarantee. I am following directions from the company that I bought the tool from and am dealing directly with Festool Repair in Ontario. Is this normal procedure?.. Or should I expect the local company that I bought the tool from to do the leg work of packaging and posting and such? I'm spending much of my time on this warranty that I don't think is very fair. What to other Festool owners do when a tool fails during the warranty?
