Was This A Good Deal?

Picked up a few used tools today, all originally purchased July 2014...... A DTS 400 with paper; RO 150 FEQ and a little paper; TS 55 REQ with the FS/1400 rail, extra blade and two clamps; CT 36, and................a Kapex KS 120 with an extra hold down clamp...... Tools were used once.  Was this a good deal at $2400???

I think you scored very well - must be $3600 + new. If truly used once or very little you can't beat it with a stick. Good Luck

Square cut, you were darn close.  Her receipt from Woodcraft was $3675 and change....

Peter, say it ain't so, true?  She had posted the tools as a package for sale at $2400.  I paid her the asking price, didn't even care to haggle over price.  She had originally purchased the tools so her husband could Reno their family room.  He is gone, I got the tools......some days you win, some days you lose.....already registered them!

I'm calling it legit.  I have a copy of her purchase receipt from Woodcraft. She met me at her place of work.  She was wearing her security pass in a place where security is, well, tight....  Have tele number and other details, so, I'm gonna climb out on a limb and say it's all good....

I beat out a guy trying to offer less, I figured she had been through enough and for the tool conditions and 6 months old, $2400 was low.

I think I just completed my Kapex promo deal... [eek]

I saw that deal on Craigslist last night. It looked totally legit to me. if I didn't already own all of those tools I would have bought it myself!!

Thanks guys for the kind words.....  Everything seems to check out, checked serial numbers with Shane today and no issues but I didn't really expect any.

Got back home today and cleaned up the TS 55 REQ, it looks brand, spanking new!  No issues operating it.  The DTS hadn't even been used.... I tried it out, great little sander!  Checked out the CT 36.  Bag has very little debris in it.  So again, minimal use.  Of all the tools the one I wanted/needed the most, the RO 150 looked more used, but cleaned up very nicely!  And lastly, the Kapex appears in perfect shape!

I'm very pleased with this haul!
