Hi
Thanks for the intro Shane  [not worthy] and Tervetuloa to Lasse. I have met a lot of the U.K group at shows, exhibitions and also at the 2014 meet up back in the Summer.
Very briefly - my role as Technical Trainer for Festool U.K is to develop and deliver the dealer training, introduce new products to the U.K and support our sales team in their roles. I also attend and demonstrate at exhibition events through the year.
I am trained as a Furniture maker/Joiner and have 25 years direct trade involvement, taught in Further Education Construction and have my own workshop.
I will participate and support as much as i can and am looking forward to working with all of you.

If you don't want your status revoked, your first order of business as a new member here is to end the phrase NAINA! [big grin]

Agreed!

But welcome anyway!

[big grin]

Easy NAINAC........(currently)  [wink]

Conversely NA FOG members now have -
[size=36pt]
Now Available in North America [NAINA]!
[size=12pt]as in the availablity of two European Festool items, er valued employees.

[size=36pt]WOW!
[size=10pt]as in WOW should be pleased.  [big grin]

[size=14pt]Welcome Phil and Lasse, your knowledge will be also valuable to most of us Down Under as we too have many items NAINAC.  [big grin]

Ja welcome Lasse and Phil [big grin] to the forum, for me the  UK and Finland Festool support is a natural ally to Danish based festoolians! I'm thinking of going to some UK arrangements at some point..

Hi Phil

Welcome to the FOG, your input will be invaluable I'm sure. The UK dealers all seem very quiet on here now, no input for months. I do try and help where I can but having a Festool UK employee in the mix will be great.

'Dealer training' - I like that one, always good to start with a joke... [poke]

[big grin]

Warren

Thanks for the support Warren.............you are first on the list in the new year for dealer courses [smile]
Regards
Phil

I reckon Phil joining FOG is part preparation for the impending Festool UK Reconditioned Tool 40% off sale [dead horse] [popcorn] [off topic]....
Or are those type of promotions NAIUK.. [tongue]

Hello everyone.

Thank you Shane for the introduction and thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. And welcome to the forum Phil. :)

A few words about myself. I started working for Festool in 2007 and at the moment I am working in our shop. My job mainly consist of taking in retailers orders, customer service, technical support and handling tools that are coming in for service. In the future my goal is to move up to do sales rep tasks on the field.

I can not match Phil`s experience but I believe that with my overall knowledge on the Festool product range I can make a contribution here.

I`m looking forward in getting acquainted and hoping to live up to everyones expectations.

Thanks, Lasse.

Not sure how I missed this - maybe it was TOO big and bold?

WOW isn't pleased YET, but the December intro of the Vecturo does give me hope. However, I am still *completely baffled* why that would become available before the PDC or BHC18? Just makes no sense to me.

And while I warmly welcome Phil and Lasse to the FOG, I suspect that they have no (or little) more influence on NAINA items than I or any other FOG'r has. T'would that it weren't true...

Hi
The bigger the community the bigger the voice.....

  You will enjoy the Vecturo.......
Regards
Phil
