What are the rails that are mounted on the four sides of the mft called?
I have to make my own fab table, since the only way I can fit one into my space is to have it fold down from the wall on hinges and rest on legs on the long side. Festool model is too heavy to carry and setup, and takes up too much room

I would like to have the 4 side rails installed so that I can use the fold down holder for the ts55 rail

Are there any aftermarket alternatives??

They  are called profiles and they come in 2 sizes to fit the MFT. They can be ordered directly from Festool Service - 800 554 8741. Or  possibly some dealers who stock them can chime in.

In case you want to build something bigger: they're also (at least in Europe) available in 2m as MFT/3-TP 2000 LA - #496824 (two profiles).

I've bought the longer sides from Toolnut/Festoolproducts...Festool 472863 MFT/3 Long Side Aluminum Profile...$74.74

Does Festool sell a profile greater than 3 feet long? Thanks

2m is just a little bit shorter than 6ft 7in. Has been ordered from Europe in the past by US residents (search 496824).

The standard MFT/3 front rail is a little over 3ft 5½in.
