I’m in the middle of season 3 of “Mr. Inbetween”. It is good, but my wife wouldn’t watch for 5 minutes. Proves that even low-life killers have full lives.
Crazyraceguy, I think an Apple TV box will solve those problems. You don’t need anything other hardware, just download the apps from your TV screen via the Apple TV.
I'm the biggest hater of Apple you'll probably ever find. I lived through the VHS v Beta thing, back in the day. It was a wholly unnessary "competition" that was a giant hassle for everyone involved. You would go to the rental store, and they would only have the movie you wanted.......in the other format. You couldn't share with friends, etc.
For decades we had vinyl, 8-track, cassette, and DVD, any player would play them.
Apple was taking compatibility away from PC users, with a way smaller market-share. I always figured, it would end the same way. If not for the Ipod, it the early stages of digital music players, it might have happened. It brought them back, from the brink and cemented their proprietary nonsense. Even today, we are stuck with it. A choice between Android Auto and Apple Car play, incompatible BS. One brand "owning" the entire format is a pain, either you are "in the club" or you're an outsider.
I haven't used that Roku box in years, but I did pay for it, so I assumed it only worked because of the hardware.
I wasn't aware that it would work otherwise. I guess smart TVs and advertising everywhere have changed that.
