So while I have been stuck in bed I have been doing shop drawings of my layout, thinking about workflow, etc. I have BIG PLANS to get stuff done once I can walk and stand again.
And I thought "What do you do with the systainer and accessories while you are using the tool?"
I suspect the workflow is different depending on whether you are in the shop or on-site, so for my purposes please 'think' like you're in the shop. Some choices I see are:
1. Take the tool and the systainer to the work
2. Leave the systainer in the SysRoll / Rack / Whatever, and take only the tool to the work
3. Take both to a spot NEAR the work, where the Systainer sits while the tool works.
4. ?
Do you have a special spot for the systainers in your shop when they are 'out on the floor' versus sitting in their assigned spots?
I'm really curious to hear what all of you have to say. I've been organizing my shop for around 25 years now, and most days I don't feel like I'm any closer than I was when I started?!
