What Festool Did You buy Today?

I just rounded up 2 saw blades that are NLAINA...that'd be No Longer Available In North America.  [crying] [sad] [mad]

The Festool aluminum blade for the TS 55 and the same blade for the Kapex.  [cool]

Ah yes - the saw blades with hen's teeth [wink]

Or to put it in a different vernacular, the saw blades that were orphaned because Festool decided to obsolete the spark trap, which necessarily obsoleted their metal cutting blades, which necessarily diminished their law suits, which yada yada yada. Sometimes my head just hurts thinking through the Festool thought process.

It happened while I was visiting a dealer - a SysRock hopped into my shopping bag... I resisted the urge for so long, now I have to finally admit defeat.

Great sound, not just while working...  [eek]  [big grin] [big grin]

Joined the CXS fraternity today. Played around with it the other day and said I would think about it.
Was in the store today and it was on special, how could I say no [big grin]

Couldn't agree more, lol. :) BTW: If you can, try one of the limited H.Upmann Magnum 56 - imo it's the best cigar Cuba has to offer right now. I'm tempted to say, even better than the Behike - but it will need a couple of more to verify... ;) Better than the Maduro 5 Genios I had Thursday, for sure.

Tonight I'm probably going with an OpusX The Lost City from Arturo Fuente.

Kind regards,
Oliver

Got my hands on one of the new domino kits in berlin last week. I've got a king sized bed project I will be using this one.

[member=12740]ceddy[/member] link they're just releasing the connectors here in Oz, but for some strange reason they aren't offering the starter kit. A real dumb move to my thinking .. I'm torn between sourcing one from Europe and getting a new Sortainer and stocking it up with the various components.

Looking forward to hear what you think of them [wink]

Ordered my first cordless Festool today, HKC55 with the FSK420 rail. They have to get it in as I didn't want it made up from bits and pieces.

I thought AU premium dealers were supposed to have everything in stock  :-\

I purchased a METRIC based OF 1400 to tag along with the OF 1010 before the metric version follows in the same footsteps as the MFS, spark trap & aluminum cutting saw blades.  [mad] [mad] [crying]

FYI, the kits is very heavy so it might cost a little fortune to ship. I fit the kit in the suitcase (smallest non carry on Rimowa) and with cloths and a few other things it tiped the scales at 20 Kg.

[member=12740]ceddy[/member] .. never mind, I'm resigned to getting the pieces and fitting out a Sortainer .. just waiting on the pieces to come into stock

[welcome] brother [big grin]

Enjoy that puppy - the ticks on my list are getting me closer to the Conturo [sad] soon [smile]

Basically I just wanted another set of the "stubby" centrotec wood drill bits that work so great with the CXS's angle attachment...

This is what I left the dealer with... Oh, and again - new to me dealer - trying them all now, one at a time...

A sip of the green
A puff of the hand rubbed
A taste of two decades gone by

... there's got to be some poetry in there somewhere [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]

You are right about not being able to swing a small rodent in your garage [big grin]

Looks good mate. The grooving unit looks a lot better in its own Systainer rather than you being expected to throw it in with the saw. I have the FSK420 rail with the HKC55, I can definitely see a use for the baby FSK rail on the small saw.
