What Festool Did You buy Today?

.....  I can definitely see a use for the baby FSK rail on the small saw.

I was doing a small bit of framing today and it was only after screwing about with the cordless Metabo SCMS that I realised the HKC55 and FSK250 would have been a better and less messy choice [embarassed] Ironic that the very reason I got the Metabo SCMS to complement the KAPEX (where the KAPEX was just a little too cumbersome to bother dragging out) now the HKC55 and FSK's kinda make it a wasted buy - still like it though [smile]

Yes I considered the same thing with the HKC55. In the beginning I thought it was just a glorified cordless circular saw but the more I looked at it I saw a cordless portable SMCS.

I have some timber to rip down using an FS guide rail, I think I will be grabbing the HKC over the TS saw for this job.

Oh, yeah.

Since I've owned my HKC55, haven't touched my scms.
I even trimmed an interior door combining it with the FS rail and 32-tooth blade over the weekend.

Finally got my Kapex

MFS 400 set (700 extensions on order)

And a MFS 1000 cushion

Hi i'm a newbie to FESTOOL, picked up the TS55 and CT 26 it was a tough choice between the ct26 and midi, but opted for the bigger machine  [blink] [unsure]

In June I picked up a CT 36, boom arm, ct bags, long life bag, tradesman/installer cleaning kit, Domino 500 set, tenon set.
End of July I picked up the above and a TS 55, TS 75, MFT/3, 1400 router, 420 Jigsaw, 420 kit, RO 90 and RO 150.

Today I ordered up a 850 Planer, the different heads, bench unit with angle stop.

This is a multi function stool. I've bought just the cushion I'm going to make my own stool

Also got my 700 rails yesterday

It was my 3rd Festool (I think). I have put it through its paces over the years... Never let me down.  Enjoy it!

Cheers. Bryan.

2.7 meter rail and are TS55R to replace my old TS55 that I have had for 8 years. My old TS55 still works fine but it is starting to get a bit buggered after 8 years of abuse but will still keep it on the back of the ute for door trimming.

Just got the last major tool I was looking for.  Picked a barely used Carvex corded barrel grip and accessory set.

Finally bought CMS with OF 1400. Didn't have time to make photos because I was too excited with unpacking and assembling the kit.

I finally broke down and bought the RO 90 sander.  I have a project where I need to sand a bunch of corners and thought this would be more versatile than the DTS400.

My only disappointment is that I only got two pieces of sandpaper as samples - one round and one delta.  In the past I have seen much more generous sample packs.  Is this the new norm, or was my kit supposed to have a lot more sandpaper?
