I just bought an additional VL extension for the CMS GE I just received cause i felt it need a balance to the outfield table, and being a little blade shy I want to put a little more distance between me and mister sharp..It will also be needed when I'm going to be ripping some 4 meter long stock in the next couple of weeks.. I also bought the centering cone for the template work with the OF 1010

I ordered the extra VL extension today as well , just got to remount / replace the switch as its in the wrong place

Wonder why Festool didn't think of it DOH

Yes I see it can't be mounted with the switch in place, l will need to make some sort of movable yet sturdy mounting bracket for it..

Thanks. First project will be a work table then a chest of drawers for my 3 year old daughter. It's going to take a while as I am recovering from a back surgery. I am just trying to get everything ordered so that I will be ready to start when able.

Because I wanted the TS75 with a metric scale, I purchased one today. I was planning to purchase it later this fall. Since the MFT/3 is discounted 10% if purchased at the same time, I had no choice but to purchase it as well.

I'm just waiting on delivery of a SYS 2 today to finish tidying up the storage of my recent CMS delivery.

While I'm waiting I finally get to fire up in anger the CMS-GE, with TS55 and OF inserts.  I only went for the sliding table to go with it as with the DF 500, Domino set and extra dust hose it was getting a little ££££.

My van drawer just isn't big enough to take all my systainers, plus my saws and dog cage.

I bought the DWC 18-2500 Set and PDC 18/4 earlier this week.

The job I have on at the moment is to fit out 2 new build homes.

I have 150 Sq. metres of T&G red deal flooring to install, and all the drywall, but didn't fancy using loose screws (approx 16,000).
I damaged my hand late last year, (I cannot make a complete fist yet), so small items slip out my hand.

I don't use air, or gas, nailers for first fix (framing), so I needed a driver with a bit more muscle, without the noise of an impact model.

I have given both tools a good workout so far, and both have exceeded my high expectations of Festool quality.

I have cycled about 3000 screws through the DWC into the floor, without a single jam or misfire, while standing up, making it more comfortable and faster.

The PDC has plenty of torque, even at speed 3 and 4, to drive almost any screw size that I would use. I did turn it down to speed 1 to drive 7.5 x 120mm concrete screws and it drove them in with little effort.

I would like to hear about anyone else's feedback on the DWC, doesn't get mentioned very often here on the FOG.

[member=26406]AJCruise[/member] I've got the older DWC in 12V and also in mains - both Protool. They've only had minor use. I'd sell them in a flash and upgrade to 18V DWC's but for some strange reason they're not on the market here in Oz at the moment.

I got the new 5.2Ah batteries with it, it went through 2,000 4x50mm wood screws on one battery charge, and saved me a day's work doing it with loose screws.
The PSC420 , BHC and HKC55 are next on the list.
Not having to drag around cables on the job would make life a lot easier.
I think Festool missed the mark by not making an HKC85 as the 55 variant won't cut 2X stock at 45 degrees. It would have plenty of power using the dual battery format on the TSC

A dual power HK85 would be an awesome tool (2x18V's or a mains lead), but a dedicated cordless spinning the large blade wouldn't last long.

I'm looking forward to the local release of the HK85, but mostly because of the grooving attachment.

You're probably right about the load of a much larger blade, and never thought of the spindle cutter option.
I was thinking of something just large enough to cut through 2X with the thinner kerf width.

I hope Festool are looking at DeWalt's new 54/60V Flexvolt system.
The Kapex and Precisio, which are due an upgrade soon, would be ideal candidates for this, as well as the more powerful tools (TS75, HK85, OF1400/2200 etc.)

Ordering the 466353 VERBINDUNGSSATZ 91549 IPM-VP-05-AV-ST corner threaded insert for the MFS so I can expand the possible configurations I'm getting two, I'd get four but they are expensive so l will wait on the last two.

I am also getting 4 FSZ 120 clamps so I will then have a total of 6 for using with the MFS setup.

An additional Set of MFS VB 700 extensions. My setup will then consist of 2x MFS 400, 2x MFS VB 700 and a MFS VB 1000 .

A FS2 1400 LR 32 guide rail combined with my FS2 1900 it will get me to 3300 length. For a mobile setup FS2 3000 isn't really practical.

Today the second sys4 tl-sort 3 arrived  (The first one at 98 eur on amazon was at a decent price...when i saw it at 83 could not resist getting another!)

Picked up a syslite kal 2 this week it pushes out an impressive amount of light for its size,  it's a great little work light think i'l be picking up another one in a couple of weeks

PDC 18/4 needed a new drill with a 13mm chuck after my t-18 was stolen had been using my CXS for most drilling and anything over 9mm I would use my old bosch SDS what was a bit of a pain especially if there was no power handy.

I was waiting for my tax rebate before buying anymore tools but managed to knock my CXS of a marina where I am laying some decking into the salt water, fished it out but it is not working to well now. But considering how much I abused the poor little thing I am surprised it had lasted the 3 years I had it .

Bought the ETS-EC 150/5, already had an ETS/5 that I bought used and abused but worked great.  The EC is wonderful, much more like the air powered sanders that I used in the 70's at an industrial cabinet shop.

Nothing to get wildly excited about - but I wanted another SYS-1 to hold a (non-Festool) single-task toolkit; was going to go for a Tanos-branded one to get a contrasting colour - but I found that Amazon had the Standard (Compact?) Cleaning Kit (D27/36 K-RS Plus), complete with SYS-1 (and a foam base insert) for less than could I find the empty SYS. £29 inc delivery.

I know that kit is available elsewhere heavily discounted, so it's a modest saving - but welcome nonetheless.
