What Festool Did You buy Today?

I'm planning on using it to join up an ash countertop I've been working on but I spent the morning building a bunch of face frames for cabinets and it's really been a joy to use. I anticipated a huge learning curve but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I ordered a Sys Cart, a systainer 5, and a systainer 3 combi today, have intentions of getting better organized [scared]

picked up my Sort 4/Sys 3 3-drawer unit to sit under a SYS-MFT on my Sys-roll to put all the clamps and qwas dogs, etc in.  And my bride let "us" buy a CXS to go with the C12 I have.  When she played with it at a roadshow, she really liked it.

Had to remodel my lady's bathroom and carefully remove a huge mirror. I got a second of the Gecko suction cup thingy (with the rail attachment package). Worked a treat. Now what to do with with a massive mirror....

Purchased an HKC that I will be using to cut cement board for a bathroom remodel...ya I know it's a shame to scratch the saw sole plate, but really, these tools are made to be used and not just parked or used as trailer queens. I have the CMT diamond blade and will break out the grouping tomorrow...just waiting for those new batteries to fully charge. [cool]

From the Festool Connect Event Recon sale finally got a Domino 500 set and a Sys light.  Now to get some Dominos to put in the mortises!!  [tongue]

Got HK with 420 rail a 670 rail and the new sys lite duo set
Got a lot of painting to do in my daughters new house. Going to look forward to lighting up each room I paint

When they announced over the summer that the MFS routing template was being discontinued in the United States i took advantage of the discount to get some of the extension sizes I didn't already have. I held off on the 2000 though, not having an immediate application for them. But when they finally went out of stock i had a bit of an irrational freakout and suddenly became convinced that i should have hopped on them while i had the chance. After someone mentioned it on the FOG, though, i discovered i could get them for even cheaper -- international freight included -- from England.  Apparently i wasnt the only person with that bright idea, as the company informed me after a week that they were on back order. I had almost forgotten about them, but look whst was waiting on the doorstep when i got home.

A thing of beauty Edward...you asked me what I was going to use my 2000's for, and I replied I didn't know, and I still don't. However, let's see who uses theirs first, it could be an education and fun for both of us. [big grin]

I know about that irrational thought process,  [smile] , if you purchase under duress and never use the item, it's irrational. If you purchase under duress and use & fall in love with the item, it then becomes divine intervention...

It begins:
T 18+3
Snappy cabinet makers set (centrotec)
2x Tanos cooler systainers (take out the foam and they are less than half price - plus red white and blue 'meruca)
Starrett forged square +protractor +center finder.

Got the "new" T18 - hooray for a sturdy belt clip. I tweaked my old one but the tweak is only workable on the "wrong side" of the drill, so now I can clip one on either side going up a ladder: [cool]

Looking forward to the release of the 3,1Ah Airstream battery, looks slim enough:
