What Festool Did You buy Today?

And I'm trying really really really hard not to get a HK or TS saw, or MFT, or jigsaw.... [scared]

Then I won't tell you how much I LOVE my TS55 then :) I literally think its the best tool I've ever purchased in 32 years of working with wood. You'd probably really hate the amazingly straight and clean cuts you can get with it.

Thanks fellas!  I think I might have sold myself on the TS75 yesterday.  I mill my own lumber from our woodlot and have approximately 27 sugar maple 2.5ish x 6s that are fully seasoned but incredibly unsquare.  After free-hand resawing one on a 14" bandsaw and then making a sled for another, this sure ain't repeatable.  The straight edge on the circular saw was okay and now those edges are ready for the jointer, buuuuuut this sure would be easier on a track saw .....and I still can double my Delta points for another 15 days on the Amex ;)

Two festool quick action clamps. Need to be ordered in though. These will be great with the FS guide rails. There's even storage for them in the TS55 systainer.

Yep.  I talked myself into the TS75 and added a 40" rail.  But couldn't stop there, so I added the Carvex 420 PS and base plate kit.

Just made my first cuts on that ugly maple.  As it was my first time using a plunge saw I learned about kickback on the first cut.  Don't plunge and start cutting at the same time.  Even though I have had my share of kickbacks with the chainsaw (I plunge cut instead of backcut) it certainly startled me with this cir saw because it was the first 2 inches.  After figuring out to plunge first then cut at depth I made a number of square, ready for glue(ish) cuts and can say the only other saw I've fallen in love with on the first day was my Stihl MS461.  Wow wow wow!

Oh yeah....the Carvex....it works like a jigsaw.  Festool jigsaw blades are pretty nice though.

Darn you Festool!  You might be worse than crack.  2 days, $5,000+, and I'm still looking at your website wondering if there are other ways you can make my life easier.

I´ve ordered:

MFT/3
SYS-MFT Fixing-Set
MFK 700 EQ-Set
MFS 700
3 Systainer SYS MINI T-LOC  (for my wife)
Festool SYS-Cart RB-SYS

Should arrive these days (hope i am at home, because i had to order at different dealers)

Just ordered a DF 500 and Domino sytainer. When I told my wife she promptly gave me two projects. Both of which would necessitate a LR 32 system so that's on the way also. Fortunately I have an OF 1400 and a holey rail. Two new tools to learn.

New 6mm bit for my Domino after hitting a screw with it the other night  [embarassed]

150/3 plus loads of paper and hard pad
A few different jigsaw blades
Pather for the TS75 - no more kickback ;)
And a little Powermatic jointer I shouldn't mention here

Had to drive to Las Vegas and pick my wife up from the airport this morning, so naturally stopped by Woodworkers Emporium to look at Festool stuff.  Ended up buying a Domino XL700 set and a few odds and ends.  When the sales guy told me the total of "Fifteen Thirty Four," I asked my wife if she had a $20 bill .. when she hesitated I told her I would just charge it.  Not sure if she knows or not?  Oh well ...

Managed to get a basically brand new HL 850 with the bench unit and angle stop off of eBay today.

Really looking forward to using it.

as long as you got the accessory fence (angle stop) with it you'll be a happy camper

Just rebought a CT-Sys, which I had purchased over the summer but returned within the 30 days window.  Currently on a project where we have to run 3 vacs at once, and I didn't want to sit around and twiddle my thumbs waiting while the person borrowing my CT26 finished sanding.

Joined the Festool forum yesterday and today was my first with the Kapex, what a Christmas gift!!

That's a hell of way to jump into the pool, welcome aboard!!!

Question for you guys, Do the CT26 vac bags work in the CT36? My mother-in-law got me these from Amazon and if I don't have to I don't want to give her the problem of sending them back.

Personally I think they will ...

Merry Xmas Everybody.

Santa came.......actually the wife went to the local Festool store. They asked her if she wanted a trolley [big grin]

She got me the 2 x ratchet clamps which I can use under the guide rails, and fit in the track saw Systainer, and the 4 drawer sortainer, which I am looking for ideas on at the moment. It is Festool part number 491522

Do any of you have this Sortainer, and what do you put in it. My current train of thought is to turn it into a drill bit/driver bit Systainer.

Today it was the Parallel Guide and extension set. Hopefully I'm done for a good long time. My definition of accessorizing is certainly different than my wife's.
