Is the 'ridge' the same width as your 1400 rails?

Mine is, [member=8955]Coen[/member]. I have an 800 and 2 x 1400's and everything fits together perfectly.

I got that same short track when I bought the TSO squaring arm.  It basically becomes a portable radial arm saw, but with greater reach.

You can use it with a router to cut dadoes.  Very handy in that you can cut the left side of a bookcase and the right side at the same time, which practically guarantees that the shelves will level when assembled.

My radial arm saw with a dado head can do the same, but with just 16” of reach, I can only do it for 8” deep shelves.

Hearing that the TXS-18 wasn't going to be stateside for several months, I bit on one of the reconditioned TPC 18/4. I only need a hammer drill a couple of times a month, but I'm a sucker for nice drills.

I got myself the basic version of the rsc18 reciprocating saw yesterday. Only did a few cuts on scrap/firewood sofar.

First impressions: It's a lot heavier and a bit bulkier than I expected (given the brushless motor).
I like the foot and it's depth adjustment. I like the ledlight, and the triggersensitivity. I also like the sturdy rafterhook and it's springloaded detentsystem.
I like the bladechange mechanism (all my previous reciprocating saws were oldies, that still used allenkeys).
The stepless pendulum adjustment is interesting.
I haven't used the dustextraction adapter yet, but it feels solid and goes on and off easily.
I also like the sys3 version of the midisystainer, the fronthandle is really handy in this case.
It is made in China.

I got myself a second CXS old style (10.8V). I saw a very nice deal (about €200 for the Plus version) and haven't been that enamoured with the new CXS12 or CXS18 version to want to wait for them. This one is light, quiet, and more than powerful enough for what I need to do with it.

I find that interesting, just to confirm the actual tool is made in china? what about the batteries and accessories?

Hi, I bought the basic version, which means in a systainer, no batteries or charger, it did came with 1 sawblade.

On the tool itself it states "made in China".
I checked the sca 8 charger I already had, and that one is "Made in Vietnam",
the 5.2 ah bluetooth airstream batteries are "made in Poland",
the sawblade that was included says "Made in Switzerland"
So quite eclectic.

/edit: I also checked my tcl 6 charger, which I like much less, because of the annoying coil-whine sound it makes, and that I got with my pdc/tid set, that one is made in Germany.

I caved in today and got the CXS too (I blame batmanimal). 

Figured the potential noise and weight issues with newer models was not worth it considering I have bigger drills for bigger jobs already.  This is for enclosed cabinets and punch list.  I don't mind the extra charger and battery types because realistically they're stuck in the drill all the time and I've done the 5Ah battery pendulum on a drill thing before and that does not have the allure for me it seems to have for some.

Yup the original 12v.  Comes in a new sys3, which I've already filed down (akin to licking it) so it's staying.

Licking a new bicycle (especially if you built it) make it "yours".

Same here. Grabbed an FS800 for short cuts and to mount on the Dashboard for cross cuts instead of a 1400. Also added an FS2700 so I’m not constantly mating 1400’s for long cuts in the shop. Scored a full set of 700xl cutters for a song also.

I got a second spindle for the Shaper Origin this week. It actually came in on Monday, but I have been off work since Friday. I had too much else going on to drive all the way over there.

I decided to move on from blue tape labels in my Sys Organizers to some plastic label markers.

This weekend I got tired of switching my CTL22 between auto to run tools and manual to clean up on the table after each operation. I keep my dust extractor about 2m (about 6’5” for you non-metric folks) away from my MFT table, so I basically have to walk over to it to switch it on.

So I broke down and went to my dealer this morning and got myself a brand new CTL26 along with the bluetooth adapter.

I should really have done this a long time ago but it has been hard to justify as the CTL22 is working fine and I also own an old CT MINI. But I finally got my local government to agree to a new CTL26 if I promised to get rid of the MINI.

I also decided to order a TXS18-set as I will need the eccentric attachment. Local government is unaware of this purchase though.
