What Festool Did You buy Today?

Got home this afternoon and found that an RO150 had found its way into my trunk.  Opened up the new style systainer and saw someone dropped a hard sanding pad in there too.

Guess today goes in the book as "a good day".

Congratulations! It's on the list one day! Enjoy! Any immediate project you got lined up for it?

I just ordered a 7th CXS (10V) for myself. The are going EOL and I wanted to have one because it is the Festool I use the most. I returned the CXS18 because of the noise. Everybody that works on site for me has gotten one and mine was 5 years old. My profile has 44 entries, I may need to speak to a professional.

I also ordered 5 LEYSYS-FT1. I really like that one. You can always have it with you. And I am also giving them as gifts this Christmas.

Just received a DWC 18 from the recent Recon site. It's really in mint condition, if it was packaged in an older T-Loc instead of the SYS³ Systainer, I'd assume it was a never used NOS item.  It's gonna spend a lot of time installing drywall in a new garage.  [smile]

It replaces a Milwaukee SHARP-FIRE®/PAM system that's corded and is also rather heavy. I still use the "long" Milwaukee SHARP-FIRE® for screwing down sub-floors.

I love that Sharp-Fire, looks really well made! I've got the extension for my Makita collated screwguns but it's more an after market product so it's workable but not terribly great.

Went to woodcraft today and added the Systainer³ Organizer SYS3 ORG M 89 22xESB to help in my transition to organizing my shop using systainers. I'll add a photo tomorrow.

Nice, I put in another order with them via Amazon recently.

I got to play with one a few weeks ago at a festival event. That thing is impressive! Enjoy!

I have noticed that they are dropping the price on the old CXS 10. It has dropped 30% and I have ordered two sets for about 180 USD. I permanently misplaced a chuck and the angle part on one of my site CXS (yes I have clean tools that never leave the shop and site tools that have a miserable life). Buying a new CXS was not much more than buying replacements. I expect them to be EOL Q1 2024.

CXS 10 is still $339 in the US for the full set.

The Festool routing aid dropped enough below $400 that I pushed the buy button. It was here last night when I got home from work. It's not going to get used a lot but I know I'll appreciate it when need arises.

I was about to say, 30% off is cheaper than getting a CXS 10 on Recon.

If they ever drop by 30% here in the US, I might grab one each of the CXS 10 and TXS 10 just to have as spares/for my wife and kid.

What is a "routing aid"? - Thanks
