I think that blade costs as much as 3 electric carving knives from the local Goodwill store (I kept one for actually carving meat), but I suppose those aren't cordless like the recip saw is.
Of course, if we could just get the ISC240 over here, it would all be a moot point...

I'm installing mineral wool insulation in the garage and the problem is the wider batts (23") are only available locally in pallets of 12 bundles each. In my situation I only need 6 bundles @3.5" thick and 6 bundles @5.5" thick. [sad]
My solution is to "slice" some of the 5.5" thick batts into 3.5" thick batts. That SR 400 blade works really slick on a Sawzall so I'm fitting it to a P1 cc and then running it on the Mafell rail. Slice halfway through the batt, rotate the batt 180º and slice through the other side.
I looked at the ISC 240 very seriously but the max depth is only 350 mm and I need to make a 600 mm cut.
