What Festool Did You buy Today?

If you are referring to 1/4" stuff not fitting in the Centrotec system, that's correct. They can be modified by knocking down the corners with a file and putting a second groove down the shaft farther, but that's only practical for long tooling. I just bought Centrotec tooling from Festool and Snappy and haven't looked back. When I do need to use a 1/4" bit of some kind, I just use the magnetic adapter for short wire retention bits or a Snappy Centrotec to 1/4" adapter. I know it's not a happy thought, but the Centrotec setup is pretty darn good IMHO
I buy my drivers in bulk from China mostly and haven't had the issue with bits not fitting in or holding improperly luckily.

Cordless Midi, with the 8ah 'energy set'. Have been meaning to get a smaller vac for site work, but my hand was forced when my CT26 let me down. Have sent it in for repair, so if repaired it will remain in the shop when I get it back and the Midi can stay in my vehicle.

I picked up the 5.0 Ah battery set with the TCL 6 duo on the way home today.
Figured the duo would be better than another single tcl6, which comes in the KHC hammer drill, which will be ordered tonight.

It also seems my hilti grinder is on its last legs, so once the KHC it arrives, it will replace my hilti Te 4-a22, and then no more hilti stuff in my work van. ( will be down to 2 different platforms then instead of 3)
My old hilti doesnt have a chisel mode, where as the KHC does, and i have some chasing to do soon, and ive put this off for about a year now.

All the other chargers I've packed away as I find the TCL 6 Duo the handiest to have sitting around.

Charges the 8Ah's more than fast enough for me.

Only put the new 5s on it tonight just to see if it actually charged both at the same time - win!

Ontop of the KHC i also ordered the dust attachment for the KHC ( will see how well that works)
The dsc-agc angle grinder conversion kit
The quick lock nut ( even though my hilti one fits)
And the ct tool holder, which will live on my workbench in multiple spots i think ( bit of drilling to do for it) as i hate trying to work out where to put the rotex or domino when using them

I've had my KHC a couple weeks but haven't tried it in anger yet, got a small task coming up I'm really looking forward to using it on!

Really surprised me how light it is though. Way lighter than my old grungy hammer drills.

AGC Conversion Kit for DSC-AGC

Item No. F28721

Lo, i my gift unto you

there is around $13 difference in price between purchasing both the kit and lock nut, or just the guard, guard tab and quick release nut only.

Edited for good english make 4 read easier.

Yet another Systainer³, this time another SYS3-COMBI M 337 to use as a tool box/holder for various accessories I often need to carry related to a radio station I do work for.

I had been using a ToolBox SYS3 TB M 237, but wanted a lid to keep things dust-free.

I had considered just purchasing another SYS3 M 337, but I wanted the drawer so some of my smaller items wouldn't rattle around and naturally sink to the bottom of the big container.

I also got yet another SYS-Cart SYS-RB for it, as even though this won't be a stack, it will be stored somewhere where it would be nice to roll it around rather than lift it every time.

I'd be stoked if they brought out an SCA 16 Duo! For now though I'm happy with the TCL.
I would love an SCA duo! Often wish I could at least swap out the TCL 6 for an SCA when buying a tool, but no. At least I'd have a couple. Where the charging speed is important for me is the CTC-SYS vac. When those batteries die, I need two kinda quickly. On this weekend's job, a CT(no-C)-SYS would have worked so well, but a lot of times, the CTC is what I need, despite the short runtime.

Not entirely sure but I vaguely recall seeing the CTC-SYS doesn't take the 8Ah's (if not why is that?). That would be great if it did, especially when the new batteries arrive.

Oh, it doesn't, but the charging speed, even for the smaller batteries, would be appreciated
