What happens when you leave a sander on your MFT after you lose power?

I think this is a pretty good guess, could maybe be 120 grit.  Also, if you look close you can see scratch pattern like it might have been in rotary mode.

Ok, it was an ETS 125 with 80 grit according to the story I was told. I assume the hole is oblong due to the clockwise rotation of the pad.

Did this once with the sander on top of the CT22.

Lost power set down the sander (did not turn it off). I came back from the breaker panel to see the sander spinning on top of the CT22.  [big grin] I was lucky is was only 20 or 30 seconds.

I thought break-in was mainly for Rotex
