What happens when you leave a sander on your MFT after you lose power?

I'm going with the RO 125 and 150 Granat.  Look how neatly done that hole is and how smooth it is...

[big grin]

I think this is a pretty good guess, could maybe be 120 grit.  Also, if you look close you can see scratch pattern like it might have been in rotary mode.

Did I hear correct that if we guess right we get the sander?  ;D

Looks like a Rotex 125 to me, maybe 120 grit

I'm up for a free sander!   [tongue]

RO125 in random orbit with 180 grit!

And looking at his results, I think I should sell my circle cutting jig for the trion!   [tongue]  And now I have a new way to cut the holes for the recessed lights in the house!  Sweet!

Just consider that if it was left overnight it would have eaten clear thru, dropped to the concrete floor, burrowed thru that and be heading for China...  [poke]

Ok, it was an ETS 125 with 80 grit according to the story I was told. I assume the hole is oblong due to the clockwise rotation of the pad.

Did this once with the sander on top of the CT22.

Lost power set down the sander (did not turn it off). I came back from the breaker panel to see the sander spinning on top of the CT22.  [big grin] I was lucky is was only 20 or 30 seconds.

Don't be silly!

The plug-it cord wouldn't be long enough for that...  [tongue]

I don't know which type of abrasive it was unfortunately. You could ask him if you want and you're on Facebook. He was participating in the comments there.
