Took a trip back to Ca. Stopped by Anderson ply to see Allen K and have him take a look at my TS55. Its old , dropped a few times and I wanted him to check it out makes sure everything is running right with it.

So He checked it out said all I needed was a new blade which I bought (I recently adjusted the toe in on it).

Picked up a couple of things, Bessey spring clamps, T handled edge band cutter, and one of Dons MFT squares. Allen double checked to make sure its square, it is. So today Im going to use it to check my MFT, I already used a WP 450CM triangle square to set it. But I like the Anderson one as its made from 3/4 material

Ordered a Dewalt DW744org mobile table saw stand to put my Metabo 36/18 table saw on from the HD.  Received the saw and two batteries last week.  Charger and another couple batteries should arrive tomorrow.  Can't wait to give it a spin.  Free plugin transformer is free as a Metabo incentive, but 8-10 week lead.

I got a Striking Knife from Lee Valley.

Series 221 (100x 221-412), (110x 221-413) and (25x 221-415) + 4 adaptor plates/mounting plates/carriers to use the series 221splicing connectors inside distribution panels

Geez Oliver, [member=61712]six-point socket II[/member]  I just redid some landscape lighting using the new Wago 221 connectors. They are so much nicer than the original push-on versions. If you ever think you'll need to redo the connection, I'd just put in the 221 connector straight-away.

Wago 221 vs Wago push-on.

Oh, yeah!  [big grin] And, you can finally mix solid and stranded wire/ respectively simply use one connector for both types.

Kind regards,
Oliver

Ya I forgot that part...that can be a huge plus for some projects.  [big grin]

I added the Makita JR3070CT recipro saw this weekend. Been aching for a long time to get one, nothing's gonna get in my way now because this 1500W powerhouse cuts through anything.

Ofcourse it came in this dumb molded case, I can't even get the cord in there, nor do the blades fit in the bottom left corner that was designed to hold them. I have to find me a nice systainer for it asap.

I finally got around to dig out some pictures and a short video clip of the ratcheting action on that adjustable wrench.
'Hornbach only' when searching for the product number... or can you point me to another source?

I only use the Wago 221's, even if I don't think I'll have to revisit it.  I love how easy they are to work with and how compact they are!  And you know, every time you do something and say to yourself, I won't be doing that again, something will come up and you WILL be doing that again!

I got myself a pair of scissors yesterday:

I need to cut leadax lead replacement soon, and when I was at the roofing supplies store I asked if they had a good pair of shears to cut it; because my previous experience with the stuff wasn't "fun" and they didn' have the width I need.
Their regular shears were out of stock, but they did have an expensive version; after testing them I got them anyway (these were € 55 +vat)

Those Kai scissors are really really good!  Good choice!

Today the FedEx person dropped this off.  All I can say is where has this been all my life?!  It’s a right angle M12 cordless impact wrench advertised at 220 ft lbs.  Next to it is my 1/2” torque wrench for scale.  They may be stretch the truth a little with that spec, but I quickly put it on some lug bolts torqued to 90 ft lbs and it spun them off with barely a rattle.  So it’s got some ooomph!  This will come in handy in all the places an impact wrench (even Milwaukee’s stubby) won’t fit.  Later this year it will be new rear brakes, shocks all around and 8 new control arms up front, end links and tie rods, most of which have 170k miles on them and a timing belt job.  This thing probably won’t get used anywhere else other than the car, but that’s fine with me!

Increased my Milwaukee M18 collection, drywall router and straight 1/4" grinder.  Bought the offset grinder a while ago but sometimes access is limited with that one.  Also bought a drill powered rivet nut setter, 8/32 - 1/4.

Purchased a Mafell F 160 rail...sweet...somethings are better than the Festool offering, while others are not.

Yes I am [member=41086]Vondawg[/member]  I just got a chance to try it out yesterday. I was ripping some 5/4 mahogany and the first thing I noticed was the power. No rattling or fuss, just push it down the track. I have some 2x cedar to rip today along with some 5/4 birds eye maple, it'll be interesting to see how that goes.

You're right about all of the features...blade changing is actually enjoyable.  [big grin]  Also when changing the blade angle it's done with a single knob however it's locked in at 2 points. The scoring feature is really neat and so easy, just the flip of a lever that sits next to your thumb. The adjustment for sloppiness on the track is slick also, they're detented so they can be adjusted in very small increments.  I've never liked the adjusters on Festool track saws as they were not linear, the saw was either too loose or too tight.

yes the blade change feature leaves no reason to not switch one out when needed And the scoring looks very interesting...I’m “in”
Thanks....nice review in the other post very helpful

Just remember there is no riving knife...other than that, it's a sweet saw.
